Bufala di Vermont produces specialty cheeses using 100% water buffalo milk.Fresh mozzarella is made on site at the South Woodstock creamery.In addition, we have partnered with local artisanal cheese makers to produce a variety of hard cheeses made with bufala milk and aged in caves.

Fresh Mozzarella di Bufala is our signature cheese.It is made on site several times a week in the authentic Italian style.It is the only 100% pure mozzarella di bufala produced in the United States and is made using the milk from our very own herd of water buffalo. Each ball is made entirely by hand.

Mozzarella di Bufala has a life cycle measured in days and is best when very fresh.It is the perfect ingredient for traditional Mediterranean dishes like caprese salad, pizza, pasta, vegetable dishes, etc.
