Come visit the water buffalo and watch our yogurt and mozzarella being made. We are not currently set up to give formal tours, but we welcome visitors who would like to stop by and see us. We also sell all of our products at the farm.
The farm is open Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. We are also often open on the weekends, but call ahead earlier in the week to make sure someone will be here.
The creamery is designed with an observation window that will allow you to observe the preparation of our yogurts and cheeses. The production schedule varies from week to week, so we really can't predict exactly what you might see. All of the creamery staff is very proud of our facility and our products so if they see you looking, there's a good chance that they will come out and chat with you if they are not too busy.
Please call ahead to find out the production schedule if you are making a special trip to see cheese being made.
For biosecurity reasons (we don't want our girls to get sick) we ask that visitors do not go into the barns. If you stand quietly at the open doors and speak softly the girls will usually come over to say hello to you. Please remember that they are large animals, and although they are very gentle, we recommend that you do not put your hands inside the fence.
South Woodstock is a small hamlet about 5 miles outside of Woodstock. Being in such a beautiful, remote location means that GPS will not typically land you at our location. When you're coming for a visit please make note of the directions given below that will lead you from the town green in the center of Woodstock. If you get lost, the folks at the South Woodstock Country Store on route 106 can point you in the right direction
Directions from the Woodstock Green
Heading east on Route 4 on the south side of the green, take a right onto 106 South (the Woodstock Inn will be on the far corner).
Stay on 106 for about 5 miles to South Woodstock. Just before the Kedron Valley Inn, take a right turn on Church Hill Road. Continue up Church Hill Road for about 0.5 mile, bearing right at the fork about 150 yards up the road. After you pass a stone house on the right, go about 200 yards further and then take the first left onto a long dirt driveway.
Follow the driveway up to the farm.
