Bufala meat is a delicacy enjoyed on a regular basis in certain regions of Italy due to its fine taste and nutrition profile. The taste is remarkably similar to beef; however, bufala meat is a much leaner, dramatically healthier alternative to beef. It is significantly lower in fat and cholesterol. All of our bufala are raised naturally with no growth hormones or antibiotics. Their diet is comprised of bufala milk followed by grass/hay - they are also finished on grass/hay.
Bufala looks similar and tastes similar to beef, but has 80% less saturated fat, 76% less total fat, and 25% less cholesterol
